This may be the wrong forum, but suddenly my Acrobat crashes
upon opening. Any ideas?

It is the wrong forum. I would check the Acrobat FAQs and/or uninstall, then
re-install Acrobat.

D/l a free pdf reader and see which one you like best . ( Free against
Acrobat ) .

Adobe reader is FREE just the full application program is a pay program.
