In case you are running into the problem with an error in the installation
of adobe reader 8.0

I have unpacked and uploaded the installer,

Grab it here
http://fileho.com/download/edc5bd533...r-8.0.zip.html

Out of curiosity... how do we know that it hasn't been tampered with?

You don't, unless you get it from the developers web site. And, seeing as
how it is free I don't understand why people insist on downloading it, and
similar files, from the logical web sites of the various developers.

Sorry. Should read:

You don't, unless you get it from the developers web site. And, seeing as
how it is free I don't understand why people do NOT insist on downloading
it, and
similar files, from the web sites of the various developers.

If you follow the instructions on Adobe's site you won't have an issue.

And technically, what you are doing is illegal if you read Adobe's EULA.

IF Microfox did exactly what he said he did, then it is NOT illegal. It
might be against the EULA for Adobe software and therefore a contract
dispute, but not *illegal*. Geez!

Some programs are installed via CD offline, so one then would need to
distribute it that way as well. Adobe has a distribution license that one
signs that allows one to do this. BTDT.
