I want to extract data from the workbook using ADO. My question is can we do
it while the workbook is being used by a user?. We have the workbook in the a
network which is a P.O. File, while other person want to update his databank
taking the data from this P.O line item.

Hi Frank,

My suggestion is untested, but have you tried making the PO file
shareable?

TOOLS > SHAREWORK > ALLOW CHANGES

Just a thought.
