Hi,
I am trying to run adminpak.msi on a W2k server, for the
purpose of installing Active Directory Schema. I need to
change the Schema Master Role in my domain. When I run
adminpak.msi, I am asked to insert the W2k setup CD. I
assume that means the W2k server installation CD. It is
already in the drive, but no luck. I am running the .msi
file from the CD - is that correct? Maybe I am supposed to
run it from the hard drive? I'll try that. If so, the
instructions stink! I will try, but in the meantime if
anyone has an idea please post.
Thanks!
FP

That was it - you need to run adminpak.msi from the hard
drive, not the CD.
