I've seen this posted before, but can't find it, so here goes:

How do you log on as Administrator once you've created additional user
accounts. Once youve created an additional user account besides
Administrator, the prompt for Administrator no longer shows up for you to
type the password in.

XP Home = safe mode.
Xp Pro = ctrl-atl-del twice at the welcome screen.

If you have Pro, you can hit CTL-ALT-DEL twice at Welcome, and get the
dialog - in which enter the explicit name
Administrator
and any password you have set for it.

Or - Home or Pro - boot, hitting F8 as BIOS info goes to black, and take
Safe Mode, when Administrator will appear at the Welcome screen
