I installed a new hp Photosmart, All In One printer/fax...and somehow, during
the un-installation of an old printer, some components of windows, etc. were
deleted/removed...so I had to do a repair install of my Windows XP SP2.
Now, when I try to do anything that requires using Administator Privileges,
I am denied access.
Up until the repair install of my windows XP sp2....I never had issues with
Admin. Error notices popping up.
Example: (while trying to config items through Task Manager/Startup)
"An Access Denied error was returned while attempting to change a service.
You may need to log on using an Administrator account to make the specified
changes."

I also get a similar, but differently worded error when I try to switch my
e-mail default client from OE to Hotmail, etc... Internet Options/Programs.
Any solutions out there to restore my Admin. Privileges?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
BTW...Not that this may be the same thing, but my user DOES account show me
as Computer Administrator!!!!
Blessings,
Apeke
