Tried to clear the Administrator password on our laptop
running Windows 2000 and obviously did something that now
won't let us log in at all. Is there some way to
override this so we can access the data on the computer
without having to reformat the drive and recover the data.

Thanks for any help you can provide. Dell has told us
that their only suggestion is to try a Windows repair but
they weren't sure that this would fix the problem.

Please help
Thanks

Hi, I had the same problem. Go to Dell's support "forum"
and check there. I found a detailed way to change the
entry in the registry for this that someone had posted. I
didn't save it, but it is there.
