Administrator password lost after System Restore ???

I have a Win XP PRO.
I wanted to restore my system to yesterday's configuration and after
the reset the computer, as usual, asks for a password (the username is
already on) but when I type it in, it says that it's not valid. I
checked everything (CAPS LOCK, and other things) but it still does not
let me in. I didn't change the password for a couple of weeks and it
didn't expire either.

Does anyone know how to solve it?

Wayne

Try typing your password in the username box so you can
see what your typing to make sure the keyboard isnt
acting up (of course make sure no one is behind you
watching you type it)

Thanks for your response!

Tried it and I am 100% sure I am typing the right one.

Thanks for your response JJ!

I tried most of the steps. Didn't work. I have only the Admin account
and password reset disk. I am still thinking WHY did the System
Restore change this password as it SHOULDN'T! And what could the new
password be?
Any other thoughts?

Wayne
