I have an intersting situation. I have a Windows 2000
machine (SP4) connected to a network of 12 other machines
and a server running 2000 server. When I logon locally to
the machine to uninstall a device driver I get a box that
says I do not have permission to uninstall but am logged
on as administrator how can this be?

>>Well the problem can be solved by Start>Run> type

gpedit.msc Click Windows Settings>Security Settings>Local
Policies> User Rights Assignment. Doulble click on 'load
and unload device drivers then 'Add' Administrator or
Everyone or whoever is in the list and reboot. All is
good now. I want to thank Dan Watters for helping me find
this solution. Dan you da man!! I owe ya.
