That is by design. You don't want most files deleted without UAC. UAC is
designed to make sure you know what is going on and that it is not some
malware or virus adding or deleting files using your administrative
privileges just because you're logged in as an administrator.

With UAC, you can always confirm that the file system changes being
requested are what you want to be happening. Without UAC, any malware on
your computer can make file system changes at an administrative level and
you would not know it until it was too late.

I could give you a long list of things that are wrong with Vista. UAC would
NOT be on that list.

First,Thank you for your answer!
I know your saying. But with UAC I meet many problem. So I close it. And I an
feel my computer is safe. I personly think UAC is badly designed. It give
most user barrier ,not as it designed. My question is: I want to see what in
my OEM vista disc(.swm file) . So I use imagex.exe unpack it to my D:\vista.
The directory can not be deleted. In safe mode,or takeown /f vista /r /d y;
icacls vista /grant adinistrator:F /T.....
How can I kick it out?It seize mydisc 6GB.

I love people who say "I know what I'm doing so I don't need things like UAC
or System Restore or whatever to help me... By the way, how do I....?"

You can switch off UAC by going to your user account and simply take out the
tick
