To Anyone that could help clarify this.
I have been told that with Windows 2000 Professional the
only time you should be logged on as Administrator or with
Administrator rights is when you are performing some type
of update or upgrade, or are trying to resolve some
hardware or software conflict. That for every day normal
use you should be logged in as a user or power user
depending on what your needs are.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

>I see no reason for this. My account in active directory

is an administrators account, and is the only one I have
user for the past year for all my computing.I am always
logged on as an Administrator. What is the reason given
for not logging on as an Administrator?

Same as XP and NT - logging on without administrator
priviliges prevents accidental (neophyte) or malicious
(hacker) corruption of the the system. It's a security
issue.
