Hi,

I've 2 accounts on my computer : "Administrator" & "Me", both with
linked to Administrators group.
I've configured Windows XP SP2 when I've installed it to autologon
with account "Me".

Lastly, I did not remember the password of the account
"Administrator" ; to be safer, I decided to change it (with account
"Me", it's possible).

Now, Windows XP does not logon automatically with "Me" account and
wants me to choose wich login to use.

I tried to modify HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT
\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList and add
"Administrateur"=dword:00000000
but it does not fit my feeds : "Adminitrator" account is not shown
anymore, but it is not listed anymore when using safe mode on boot
(F8) !!

How hide administrator account on normal boot ?
How to restore registry to the status I had before modifying the
"Administrator" password ?

Thanks a lot !

That's not a good configuration since there is no limited user account.

The System Restore tool retrieves a snapshot of the registry as well.

The problem is that I did not notice the logon changes, and I've
installed and modified a lot of stuff after having changing the
password....
