When opening the control panel and clicking either Administrative tools or
the Fonts icons it causes explorer.exe to crash and puts an event error "The
shell stopped unexpectedly and Explorer.exe was restarted" Source is Winlogon
and Event ID: 1002. All the other control panel extensions work just fine.
I can also goto start>programs>administrative tools and everything works fine
there. I have googled and googled but no solution. Anyone have any ideas..
These server only have a handful of patches as they do not see the outside
world. This server is the first node in a win2k SP4 cluster. The other
server which has the same patches, software and configuration has no issues.
