I have a software package that will not give me
supervisor rights. That company tells me to log on as
administrator in XP and reinstall. The problem is
everytime I try to log on in normal mode, I get an error
saying I can't due to account restrictions. I read on
the knowledge base that XP will not allow you to log in
as the administrator unless you are in safe mode. I
can't fix the software package in safe mode so that
doesn't help. How do I log in as the administator in
normal mode? I have three other user accounts with
administrator privileges, but I can't fix my problem from
any of them. Software support for the program I am
trying to fix says to log in as XP admin and uninstall.
Any ideas how to get around the account restriction error
and log in?
