Hi i'm trying to help someone out using remote assistance and this has
stumped me...
the person is logged onto a windows xp pro service pack 2 machine as a
member of the administrators group however programs and even microsoft update
says this user is NOT logged in as an administrator however he is.

I have checked the computer management console in the administrative tools
and are seeing no problems...

can someone help me out here?
