Longtime back I setup the computer, and forgot the admin password, So I
can't login. Which utility can help in reformatting the hard disk? Will
purchasing a new OS will install all fresh?

Hello SME,

Use this one to reset the password:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

Or if you will reinstall just insert the installation disk and set BIOS to
boot from cd/dvd. Then follow instructions on the screen.
