I am trying to log on as the administrator in XP Pro, but
can find no way to do so. Is there a set of key strokes at
startup that allows this. You can't acces administrator
from the User Accounts in the Control Panel or from the
log in page. Is the only way from within Safe Mode?

Safe Mode will work with Windows XP Home and Pro.
Also for Pro, at the log in screen, tap Ctrl/Alt/Del twice quickly.
From there you can access Administrator.

>There is two ways you can do this.

1. hit "Ctrl+Alt+Delete" twice at the log on screen
2. download TweaksUI for windows, it has a feature that
will allow you to show the administrator's account at the
logon screen.
