How can I disable the Login-in prompt so that I can leave
the computer ON and not have to go through the log-in
process time and again? The prompt comes up even though I
have not turned it OFF or Logged-off, and upon a few
minutes of inactivity.

Right click the Desktop, select Properties, Screen Saver and uncheck the box On Resume, Show Welcome Screen, or On Resume, Password Protect, as appropriate for your system.
