I'm running XP Pro on my pc and have Admin level for
myself and the kids are just on ordinary.
I loaded a game on for them with the Admin password but
when they go to play it (and have to insert the disk) they
are told they don't have the authority to do so.
The game in question is Age Of Mythology (if that is
relevent)
Any ideas on how to get round this without altering their
account types?

Check their user permissions. ("->" mean "go to".) Go
to start->my computer->right click on your cd-rom drive
letter.->sharing and security->click on radio
button "share this folder" (use default settings)->per-
missions->click on add->when new box pops up, type in
name of the group your children are in..if no name, just
type "users".->enter->ok->click on your users' group
name. At bottom, click on "full control box"->click ok-
