adjusting ink level

      4th Oct 2003
i had to replace my ink, black and color. Since then I
cannot print. My ink levels still show empty.

You might want to try the comp.periphs.printers newsgroup. This group
is 'loyally' dedicated to Windows XP.

I wonder if you followed directions sufficiently when you replaced the
cartridges.

What make and model of printer. If it is an inkjet, it is
possible that you left a sealing tape on the cartridge which
insulates the contacts and would prevent proper operation.

It is also possible you used the wrong cartridge or you
bought a re-cycled cartridge that was sold empty.
