I am using FP2000 frames page template. How do I resize the frames page to
center of browser page? I want to have "margins" of different color on the
left and on the right side of the browser window. I managed to do so with
table. But am I able to use frames with tables and how? I will have a page
banner at the top and navigation buttons on the left . As you notice I am a
novice with FP.

If you're a novice stay away from frames.

>What other choice do I have?

Use tables, together with include pages, or a Dynamic Web Template
(FrontPage2003)
With tables, the banner goes in the top row, the navigation in the
left column. The entire table can be centred..
There is always an alternative to frames.
