I recently got a new PC and have an odd problem. Everything, from
the screen that comes up when I boot, to applications like Word to
browser windows, desktop icons, everything, has the left most margin off
the lefh-hand side of the page. My screen resolution is 1024 x 768, and
I nave never seen this problem before. What might be wrong? Thanks.

There should be buttons on the monitor itself to adjust the left-right-centering of the display.

There should be buttons (typically there are three but I have seen monitors
with only one) on the monitor that you can use to adjust the position of the
picture as well as its size, color, etc.
