I have been very annoyed by the fact that every time i want to run a program
that windows does not recognize i have to click the allow button
also my son uses a game on a not administrator account and i have to type in
the password every time he wants to play the game
if there is anyway that you know how to add a program to the Allowed Items
List in Windows Defender please help
I mean for crying out loud you can remove programs from the list but not add
them

Mark,

There is a lot to the security features built-in to Vista, and not
understanding them can indeed be a frustrating experience. Take a look at
the following information to learn how to deal with Vista security:

http://www.jimmah.com/vista/security/uac.aspx

Much of the approach needed to deal with the security features are quite
easy once you learn the tricks of the trade. Take the time to read, to
understand and to deal with it. It's for your own good.
