The address "field" no longer drops down to see previous visited websites.
When I click on the down error IE goes in a non responding mode and hangs up?
Ocurred after updates from Windows Update. Any fix to that?

"Keith"
I'm also having the same problem. The only way I'm able to work around this
is to use the search bar on the home page. When I type in the address bar
nothing happens. It acts like its stuck in the search mode.

I'm also having the same problem. I type in an address, hit "enter" or "go",
and nothing happens. Then when I click the down arrow to view previously
entered addresses, everything locks up. The only way to go anywhere is
through a search engine. I've sent the error report, and I've tried every
suggested fix, but it still locks up. (However, when I try to install
windows updates, they all fail. I don't know if that would be related or
not)

Sounds like you've been hit by problems caused by MS06-015
