The photo is so impractical that I am surprised to see that MS would even
include such a feature. We already have many many features available if we
want or need photos - why clutter up a useful feature like adr lists? I have
found the options regarding the photo, but I probably overlooked the option
to simply remove it (and put something useful there? (like telephone numbers
or dates, or ratings (pilots' ratings etc) Can someone tell me how to at
least get rid of the unnecessary info in the adr list system? Or even
possibly rearrange it. I really can't spare the time it takes to work with
the adr list system in Windows Mail ...
Many thanks ...

Who knows why it's there? All development on Windows Mail was stopped in
June 2006 while Vista was still in beta and all resources have been
dedicated to Windows Live Mail since then.

Wow! Thank you for that valuable item regarding Windows Mail (& Windows Live
Mail). Obviously, I have to look into that.
