Address Line - temp disable history?

I s there a means to disable the automatic capture(within
the address bar) of sites I visit; or delete an individual
site? I use IE 6.

If you're typing URLs into the address bar, they're stored in the TypedURLs
key in the registry. You can delete individual entries from that registry
key (and renumber the others)

It's easier and safer to use one of these free programs:
IE Address Bar Editor: http://www.freesoft.fsnet.co.uk/ieedit01.htm
EditURLs: http://www.aandrc.com/editurls/index.htm

Tip: If you type URLs in via File> Open, instead of the address bar, they
aren't saved in the TypedURLs key and you can keep a select few URLs in the
drop-down list.
