An unwanted web address appears as a choice in my address
line when I type the first three letters. I have deleted
everything in history, cookies, and temporary files but
that one address stays. How can I delete it?

go to tools, internet options, go to the content tab and
then auto complete, then do clear forms and uncheck web
addresses and other things you want turned off

Jim,
You probably have a corrupted History folder or index.dat file.

Delete the damaged History folder- a new one will be created on restart.
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Or... Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/fre...ory-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.

Regards,
Don
