What is the proper file location of the OE address book
*.wab? Is it under Administrator\Microsoft? or where?
I've managed to mess mine up I think.

Thanks Gary. since then I've done a complete reformat and
reinstal of W2K. The address book came over OK. Now trying
to import my old messages in Win98 OE to W2K. The file
arrangement is apparently slightly different and in any
case i get an error saying the files are in use. Any idea
of how to do that import? The win 98 messages are in files
called Outlook Express\Mail saved on a CD.
Thanks

I know that you'll have to copy the files from the CD to your hard drive,
but I'm not familiar with the details. Post your question in an OE group
and you should get an answer quickly, or Tom Kock's site may have what you
need. The answer may be here:
