I know this has been asked many times, but I just reinstalled Outlook 2002
into my laptop. I have the same thing running in my desktop. What files do
I need to copy and paste for the ADDRESS BOOK, & E MAIL and where do I find
them on the disk so I can get them into my new installation of Outlook 2002?

Thanks

There is no address book in Outlook. How to transfer the Outlook data file
is posted here daily.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer:

That's the problem what and where is the .pst file?

I have all kinds of files saved from my old outlook on this desktop, but the
laptop outlook seem to be oblivious of them when I try to import them or put
them in the applications file.

I have done this before several years ago when I had to reinstall windows
and now for the life of me I cannot seem to do it.

Can you explain it like you would to an 8 year old?

Thanks for your tiem
