Everytime I click on the down arrow to see history ie locks up and then won't
do anything. I know there is other ways to get places, but why all of the
sudden is this happening? Anyone who has helps, please let me know.

I went into Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and checked the top box for
showing updates. I deleted update KB911565 for Windows Media Player 10 which
is not listed as an 11 April 2006 update but shows with an earlier date. This
corrects my (similar) problem on the address bar. I hope this helps.

Problems in Windows Explorer or the Windows shell after you install
security update MS06-015 (15 Apr-06)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/918165

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms06-015.mspx has
been revised to v1.1 to reflect the issues in KB918165 and now points
to the KB918165.

Now may not be the time to learn Regedit.
I suggest you use a .reg file already done for the purpose.

http://patch-info.de/WinXP/Downloads...are-To-Web.zip

Unzip it, extract the .reg file to a folder, right-click it and select
Merge and confirm when asked.
