i would like my email to show up like newsgroup threads so that its easier
to track (and delete) whole topics.

or what would be nice is to some how minamize everything to a single email.
basically read in the whole email, look to see if it was a reply, if it was,
search for the original message and if its located delete/mark it..

i did some looking but i havent had much luck.
i played around with the "conversations" layout but either i couldnt set it
up right or its just not as useful as it would seem.

Thanks
Justin

Which version of Outlook are you using?
View-> Arrange By-> Conversation should do the trick.
If you want to include your own replies there, then you can either put your
Sent Items in the same folder or use a Search Folder instead.

there isn't any addins that offer better sorting but there is at least one
that condenses threads.

http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail_tools.asp - look for easylinkmail.

There is also one called easycombine that merges mail - its linked on
