You don't get new email notifications for secondary Exchange mailboxes.
A workaround is to either configure an IMAP connection for the mailbox or
open it in OWA.
Personally I just add the Inbox folder of the secondary mailbox to my
Favorite Folders list and place it at the top. This will get your attention
as when a new email arrives it will turn bold and have an "unread" count
behind it.
Additionally, you can set a recurring task with a reminder. Name it "Empty
mailbox!" or something like that.
