Additional mail accounts for additional mailboxes - how to refresh?

Hi folks

It's Outlook 2003 running off Exchange on Small Business Server 2003.
Here's my problem:

I have my main mailbox, which comes up as "Mailbox - Alastair" - this
is the one for my main outlook profile. I've added an additional
mailbox, which comes up as "Mailbox - Operator", and I can see it
within the main profile. So far so good.

Trouble is, Operator has to retrieve his/her mail from two separate
places. One is the Exchange account for Operator, and the other is a
POP3 account. When Operator's mailbox is opened as an additional
mailbox in my outlook profile, outlook will happily refresh the
exchange account, but it doesn't even try to connect to the POP3
account.

Any ideas? Thanks!
