Hi,

I want to ask a few questions about adding a new domain
to the existing domain. I have domain MIC.com and it's
the master domain. I want to add a new domain controller
his name Software and then promote to let Software.com be
our main or master Domain. this is my questions:

1- when I install Win 2000 server on the Software PC(new
PC) do I choose New domain or Child, or Forest?

2- Do I choose the same DNS MIC.com?

3- DO I install the DNS server on the new one and run?

4- Do I check Global Catalog on the new PC and uncheck it
in the old one?

5- Do I have to run NtdUtil.exe from the new PC or old PC?

6- I desinstall Active directory from the first PC

Thanks in advance

Maro
