Hello,
I somehow set up LAN for 4 win2k workstation and they work
fine for a while now. Now having a problem trying to add
xp home laptop.
Configuration process is fairly done between w2k
workstations and I see the xp home icon in that workgroup
however I can't access to it with message "network path
was not found".
Xp appears as ohter win2ks in my DSL router's DHCP table.
I refered xp/network newsgroups prior and followed a
suggestion of detecting eachother by pinning, I can pin
win2k workstations from xp by ip address but not the names,
and from win2k workstation can't see xp at all.
I can't access xp both ip and name even from xp itself!
I am sure I've done most of what I have to do,
I guess there is a potential problem that I don't know how
to clear of. I need someone's help.
Also, my xp has wireless LAN card inside besides the wired
one I am trying to configure. It is disabled now.
Thank you in advance
shino
