Does anyone know how to add MS Word to the OPEN WITH
menu. I have Excel and Access in the OPEN WITH menu but
not Word.

Just choose Word from the browse option of the open with dialog. It should
then appear in the dynamic list.

I have found a program i use which replaces Windows' OpenWith menu.
It is called OpenExpert and can be found at www.baxbex.com.
It has two sections on it, one which maps for all filetypes, and one which
maps
on a per-filetype basis. So you can set it up with favorite text editor say
to show on
all filetypes, and IE to show only for web page and image files, for
example.

When I do that and choose WINWORD from the Office 2000
folder, the computer hangs and nothing appears in the
dynamic list. What am I doing wrong?
