What implications are there for adding a WINS server to a Windows 2000 domain? We have a need for Netbios now and want to research it before we do anything. Anything I can read

There are no problems and it will probably help with any down level clients
or applications that use Netbios. Just make sure the WINS server points to
itself ONLY and not to any other WINS servers and that the WINS server is
not multihomed(more than 1 nic). Then point all of your clients to this WINS
server and you should be good to go...
