Trying to add a user on a Win2000 PC. I receive an
error "The trust relationship between this workstation and
the primary domain failed" The user is set up on the
server and so is the computer. the pc used to connect
with a different user id that has now been deleted but
when attempt to add a new user I receive this error. Any
ideas?

Always investigate name resolution in such cases.

Assuming basic network connectivity almost all authentication, trust,
and replication (between DCs) are name resolution issues.

Make sure that both the clients and the servers are "clients" of the dynamic
DNS and that this is the only DNS (set) the clients use, i.e., don't have
the
clients trying to use an internal DNS server (set) AND also trying (wrong)
to use an external DNS server on the Internet.
