I have a report field that i want to add a trend arrow to based on
whether or not the tend is up or down. Basically I have a baseline
value and a forecasted value. I take the pct change and i want to add
an arrow based on whether or not the change is up or down. I know i
can add another text box to just go off of, but my question is whether
or not I can add the arrow to the same text box as the pct change. Is
it possible to have two different fonts inside one text box?

No, it's not. You'll have to have a second textbox.
