Hi,

I need your assistance in solving subject problem when adding up flight time
for an aircraft. the results are o.k if the total hours/minuts are less than
1000:00, otherwise I get (#VALUE!)

You have not provided enough information to reproduce your problem, including
How are your times entered?
How are the cells formatted?
What formulas are you using?
What version of Excel are you using?

With a custom format of
[h]:mm
I observe no such behavior in Excel 2003 using formulas like either
=time+cum_time or =SUM(times), where times are entered by typing something
like 3:24 into a cell (for 3 hours and 24 minutes).

Be very wary of such messages: the poster may have a conflict of interest,
and even if they don't, some of these programs apparently cause more problems
than they solve. Furthermore, even a repaired file that looks good may have
hidden problems (in my experience, even files labelled "last saved by user",
recovered by Microsoft's own "recovery" feature, can have major problems).

Having said all that, the home page for this particular product, unlike the
home pages for most products, gives me no cause to be suspicious of it.
