I have lots of executable files - mostly freeware - and I would like to add
to the tag when I hover my mouse over the exe file what the program does.
How do I do that? I have clicked on the properties of the file and added a
comment but nothing shows up after clicking apply and the tag bubble does
not include my comment. I am using Windows XP SP2.

What do you mean by tag? HTML? The title attribute works on anything,
except what you are trying to do.

Don't know of a prog that specifically lets you hover cursor and see
text explanation, but a couple of months ago there was some good
discussion here of utils for adding comments/descriptions to files,
even going back to the old 4DOS [now freeware] and another that added
an extra column with description in Windows Explorer.
