PC: Dell optiplex gx260 - winXP pro
1. onboard - Intel 862/g/gx/...
2. AGP - ATI rage 128 ultra

After installing everything from a scratch the AGP video card was installed
only. The onboard card is not even listed under device manager. If I take the
AGP card off its slot, the onboard card would be installed and works.
If I put back in the AGP, the onboard card dissappears & its monitor wont
work.

I checked under the BIOS anything related to video cards and came up with
the following:

Integrated Devices (legacyselect options)
- primary video controller..........auto
- video DAC snoop ..........off
- onboard video buffer ..........8mb

I don't know what to do, how I can enable the both video cards?

You can't. There are only a few mainboards that will keep the onboard
graphics working when a video card is installed.

Actually both can & will/would be used when installed properly.1st,w/o the agp
being installed, open device mgr, uninstall current display adapter,do not
restart
pc,shutdown/power off when thru.Plug in AGP card,on start-up,set BIOS for
the card,leave on-board as is,save & exit BIOS.In xp,1st,reopen device mgr,
uninstall on board again, return to desktop, install ati
software/drivers,once thru,
restart pc.Youre thru,& both devices are running...

I still can't seem to make it work, here's what I did so far:
- I uninstalled & pulled it off the AGP, restart
- uninstalled the onboard then shut down the pc

after plugging in the AGP I have only 2 options in the BIOS for the video card
auto / AGP
when AGP is pulled off then the options in the BIOS would be:
auto / onboard
In XP, when AGP is present I have no onboard card listed under device manager.

As Noozer said, very few motherboards will allow the onboard video to work
with an add-in video. I could find no information on Dell's web site to
indicate that this is one of those boards.

If you need to run two or more video outputs you may be able to add a card
into the AGP slot and also a PCI video card for the second output. Check
for compatibility before purchasing the second card as not all cards are
compatible.

There are also dual, triple and quad (and more) head video cards available
on the market. Google search will provide information on those available.
