adding picture to signature

All,

I have read through the posts, and have looked at and tried the suggestions
in the www.howto... area, but this still does not seem to work for me. What
I have done is copied the gif file to the signature directly. Opened word,
created a new doc, inserted the picture, added some text above and below, and
then save the file as a web page (HTM) to the signature directory.

When I try to use the signature, I get an active x warning. If I say ok,
the new email window opens and the signature is there, but there is a small
box above the signature (guessing it is the active x control). I need to get
rid of this so that I don't get the warning and do not need to take any
action when creating a new email and so that I do not have this errant box in
my email.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Mike
