Adding pics to existing photo album doesn't work

...for me any way. I started a photo album I have 2 slides and 10 pics at the
moment. I go into format and photo album. I can add pics, but when I hit
update it goes nuts, shifting some around, cutting the photos of pics I
added copy to. "Help" says you can combat that with undo in the edit menu.
When you do that then you also lose the pics you added. I know I'm doing
something wrong, but I don't know what. Any help appreciated.

I'm sorry I forgot to say I'm using PPT 2002.

I'd probably just create a new photo album with the additions and then paste
those slides into the existing photo album presentation.

I know that's not what you're asking, but at least it should prevent your
losing what you've already worked on.
