OEM hard drives are not supplied with installation media, screws, 5.25
mounts.. nada..

Right click on 'My Computer'.. click on 'Manage'.. ok, there is now an open
window called 'Computer Management', and you need to select 'Storage - Disk
Management'.. from here, you can partition, format, and assign a letter to
the new drive..

All retail hard disks come with detailed instructions, typically on a CD.
You should follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. These can also
be found on the manufacturer's web site, where you will find additional
assistance.
