This is from an article at pcmag.com:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1625175,00.asp

"You could prevent Internet Explorer from loading BHOs by deleting them from
below the Browser Helper Objects key, but we wouldn't advise it. Just
right-click on a given BHO's key, select Rename, and add NOLOAD or the like
to the front of the key. This will stop the BHO from launching and is easily
undone if need be. Quit Internet Explorer; when you restart the browser, it
should be BHO-free."

I would like to try this as a safer way of manually disabling BHOs so I can
weed them out. My question is with the "NOLOAD or the like" suggestion.
Does this need a "NOLOAD=" (with the "="), or is that just for programs?
The "...or the like" seems to imply that any text before the key bracket is
enough to prevent the BHO from launching. Am I on the right track here?

Thanks for your time.

Adam
