Hi!

When I create a new configuration there is a box to select a platform. I can
only choose Windows XP Embedded Client (x86). Now I need a Platform for
MIPS. Where, how, ...?

Yea, and for me, for me pleaseee - add Atmel Mega8, Strong ARM and aah
Z80 support, 'cose I need all of them :-))

Have you ever seen something newer than NT3.51 running on MIPS?
Man, forget about MIPS, Alpha, PPC and so on... Read some online IT
journals to know why.

Hi Marcel,

Other platforms than x86 will only be available in the (not so near) future.
If you need a windows based MIPS platform now, you could check out Windows
CE.

I started with WinCE, but on that way there seems to be no easy way to get
informations about my hardware like with the target analyzer for XPembedded.

And I found this: "TA.exe will only operate correctly in a Real Mode
operating system (such as Microsoft MS DOS®); it has no way to load or scan
a system's registry for devices. TAP.exe on the other hand, is supported
only on Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Microsoft Windows ServerT 2003, and is
not supported on any other Microsoft operating systems."
Might there be another way to get the target analyzer run on my hardware?
