For HP network printers, you need to install the drivers on the computer
and not use the Add Printer wizard. The HP software should find the
printer during the installation routine. If it doesn't (but it probably
will if this is a current printer), then install the drivers only and
use the HP Install Network Printer Wizard:

Normally with network printers you can find out the IP address and other
information from the printer menu. Refer to your printer manual for
which button(s) to push to give you the printer menu. Just in case I'm
not clear enough, the button is on the printer and not the computer.
