How do I add MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver to FP 2003 so that when I use the
database results wizard it can be selected from the dropdown list in the
select db driver field. My only available choices now are SQL Driver and MS
ODBC for Oracle driver, neither of which allows a connection to my MySQL DB
located on a remote Unix server. I have correctly installed the MySQL driver
and when I use Control Panel and and add the DNS connection it tells me the
connection has been made.
If FP 2003 does not allow me to add this Driver so that it may be used with
the Database Results Wizard, any help in making the connection manually
through FP would be helpful. I am new to this process. Thanks, Twoshufflers
PS I have a previious post on this issue under MyODBC and received a helpful
reply which unfortunately did work.

If is not added to FP, but install under Windows, and then it should be available. You may have to
actually install MySQL on your PC.
