I HAVE POWERPOINT ON THIS COMPUTER. I DID A SLIDE SHOW
PRESENTATION AND IT WORKED GOOD. I THEN GOT ON THE
INTERNET AND GOT A
VIRUS. AFTER I REBOOTED EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH. THE
PROGRAM I SAVED IN
POWERPOINT WONT PLAY THE MUSIC I INSERTED IN SLIDE SHOW.
SO I MADE
ANOTHER SLIDE SHOW AND WHEN I GO TO LOOK IN THE MUSIC
FOLDER THE NAME OF
THE ARTIST IS THERE I CLICK THAT, THE NAME OF THE ALBUM IS
THERE, AND
WHEN I CLICK ON THAT IT OPENS BUT THERE IS NO SONG TITLES
LISTED THERE.
SO I CLOSE EVERY THING AND OPEN MY DOC. AND OPEN MUSIC
FILE THEN ARTIST
FILE THEN ALBUM FILE THEN THE SONG TITLES APPEAR AND
DOUBLE CLICK THE
SONG I WANT AND IT STARTS PLAYING.THE WAY I PUT MUSIC ON
MY COMPUTER IS
I LOAD THE CD IN THE DRIVE, WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER OPENS UP
AND THE CD IS
COPIED, THEN THE MUSIC CAN BE FOUND IN THE DOCUMENTS UNDER
MY MUSIC. IS
THE POWERPOINT PROGRAM NOT SEEING THE MUSIC IN FOLDER??
WHY CAN I NOT
ATTACH IT TO SLIDE SHOW ? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

First, please turn off your All Caps. this indicates your shouting at us. I get
enough of that from the person I share my life with <g>

If you mean by reboot that you reinstalled all of your software after your
virus. It looks like you have not got everything back the way it was before the
virus. Which operating system are you using? Which version of PowerPoint are you
using?

I would suggest you start here if your looking how to have your music play as
background for your presentation.

Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)
